Cancer Care (Oncology)
The study and treatment of tumors is our main focus. The Oncology program at HDH is comprised of highly specialized and experienced cancer treating providers that can diagnose and treat tumors with a range of customized therapies.
What We Treat
- Breast, lung, colon, prostate, and other solid tumors
- Blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma
- Rare complex cancers
Hematology (Blood Disorders)
Hematology is the branch of internal medicine that is concerned with the study of blood, blood-forming organs, and blood diseases. Hematology includes the study of blood diseases, which affect the production of blood and its components. Our Hematology program at HDH can identify and treat those blood diseases that need specific therapies.
What We Treat
- Anemia and low blood counts
- Bleeding and clotting disorders (hemophilia, DVT, PE)
- Sickle cell disease and thalassemia
- Bone marrow conditions (MDS, myeloproliferative diseases)
