Emergency Department Patient Entrance- OPEN

***ANYONE ENTERING THE FACILITY MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY AFTER 5PM WILL NEED TO USE THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT PATIENT ENTRANCE.***

Plant Services entrance will remain only for employees.

VISITING HOURS: 12PM-7PM

Visitation may be limited for patients in isolation precautions or that have infectious illness. Please call 937.393.6148 prior to visiting. All visitors of the med/surg floor will be required to check in at the central nurse station prior to visiting.

General Restrictions & Recommendations:

  • Patients on our med/surg floor and those having surgery will be allowed two (2) designated support persons/visitors per day. Those designated support persons/visitors may visit at the same time and are the only two permitted to visit within the same day.  

  • Patients in every other area of the hospital- including, but not limited to- outpatient services, obstetrics, and those receiving any other type of testing, are permitted one (1) designated support person per patient. 
  • Designated support persons will be subject to all screening procedures currently in place.

    • Anyone who presents as symptomatic of COVID-19 will not be permitted as a support person.

    • All support persons must wear a mask while in the building, at all times.

  • While in the building, support persons must remain with their patient. They will not be permitted to move freely throughout the building.

  • Support persons must be 18 years and older.

    • No one under the age of 18 is permitted to be in the building unless they are a patient.

  • Support person access may be limited or expanded at the care team’s discretion. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • End of life circumstances

    • Individual cases where the well-being and safety of the patient is at risk

    • Circumstances where patients are required to be in a semi-private room
