Hospital Entrance Announcement & Information:
The entrance at the clinic lobby and the Emergency Department patient entrance are open to the public. All who enter will be screened for signs or symptoms of COVID-19. 
The Emergency Department patient entrance is open to the public. All other entrances will be closed on these days. All who enter will be screened for signs or symptoms of COVID-19. 

Beginning Saturday, March 21, 2020, the entrance by Plant Services, on the northwest side of the building- previously used as the main backside entrance during the first phase of Building Expansion Project 2020- will no longer be open to the public on any day. 

Temporarily, we will be closing the new patient entrance just off of Fenner Road. Patients are encouraged to park in the front lots for easier access to the building. 

General Restrictions & Recommendations: 

  • No visitors of patients are permitted on campus unless deemed absolutely necessary by the patient’s Highland District Hospital care team. The following exceptions will be made:

    • Obstetrics Unit- one asymptomatic support person or family designee may be allowed

    • End of life circumstances

    • Patients under the age of 18

    • Individual cases where the well-being and safety of the patient is at risk

  • We will be postponing all elective surgeries for approximately three to six weeks. You will be notified by your physician and their office if your surgery is deemed elective or necessary. Highland District Hospital will work with each patient to ensure a rescheduled time accommodates each patient’s need.

  • The Business Office is currently closed to the public. Payments can be made:

    • At the Emergency Department registration windows,

    • Online at

    • By calling 877.879.6613

  • If needing to request a copy of your medical record(s) we ask that you please call ahead to 937.393.6117 to arrange for those records to be ready when you arrive. We will then arrange a time and location near an entrance/exit on campus for you to pick them up.

  • Some ancillary testing has been postponed at this time. This includes, but is not limited to, some radiology exams, mammograms, rehabilitation appointments, etc. It is at the physician’s discretion if testing should be completed now, or can be deferred. If you have any questions regarding your testing please contact your ordering physician's office.
