About the Foundation

Through charitable gifts and fundraising activities, the Highland District Hospital Foundation supports the mission of Highland District Hospital.

The Highland District Hospital Foundation was created as a separate nonprofit organization in 2001 to build a bridge between the community and the hospital. Its role is to encourage community involvement in the hospital's future through financial support and to manage that support to the maximum benefit of the hospital and the people using its service.

"It All Comes Back to You"

This is the theme guiding the foundation's efforts. Because the hospital is a not-for profit organization, the patronage of individuals is critical to its ability to provide state-of-the-art technology and excellence in health care services to people in the community.

The Highland District Foundation is an approved 501 (c) (3) corporation, making your contributions tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Whether a donation is given for a specific purpose or with no restrictions, the Foundation Board of Directors ensure that each gift is properly managed and utilized as intended by the donor.

Highland District Hospital is a public, joint-township, district hospital. The generous philanthropy of businesses and individuals that care deeply about local health care help to keep the hospital in pace with current healthcare trends.
